Here's another shot from last weekends trip out to Crissy Fields. I love how the fog blocked out most of the bay, creating a very minimal scene.

We went out to Carnaval this past weekend. I decided to leave my 40D at home and only use my new LX3. So far I'm generally happy with the camera, but I did have a little frustration with using it for street photography. I'll be writing more about that once I get a chance to play with it a little more.

We went out to the Crissy Fields / Baker Beach area today. Our recently nice sunny weather turned into fog, but it was still a very nice day. This shot is looking across the bay, but it's so foggy you can't even see Oakland.

On Wednesday night I went to a new studio to participate in a nude photo shoot, put on by Group Photo Shoots. Unfortunately, it didn't go as well as I had hoped.
Right now I'm into shooting more classic nude poses, but the studio and models were more geared towards glamour / playboy / stripper poses. There's nothing wrong with that at all, it's just not my personal style, so the event wasn't really a good fit for me.
The models were great, and I'm not faulting them, but they had a set routine they were use to doing that differed from what I was looking for. I'm not the strongest director, so it was hard for me to communicate what I wanted them to do. It was a little awkward at times, but I'm trying to look at it as a learning experience.
Since the event wasn't a good fit for me, I'm probably not going to have too many images to post. But, there are a couple I think came out OK.
