What, you've never seen a naked guy riding his bike on a busy downtown street? You obviously don't live in San Francisco.
Actually, this wasn't a totally random occurance. Sunday, June 10th, was World Naked Bike Ride day here in San Francisco. I went over specifically to shoot the ride. I had visions of hordes of naked bike riders taking over Market Street, but unfortunately that just wasn't the case.
I waited for about an hour past the official start, and hadn't seen any riders. I had just about given up and started walking home when they rode up behind me. It was a small group of 12-15 riders casually cruising down Market Street. They stayed in the bike lane and obeyed all the traffic lights. It was actually a little pathetic... but I will hand it too them for having the guts to do it.

Last weekend I was shooting up on Market Street. My first shot of this guy was from a little further away. When he noticed what I was doing, he walked up and started talking to me. I don't remember his exact words, but he basically said that I should slip him a few bucks, and he would pose for a "proper picture". I kind of felt on the spot, so I agreed.
After I took the photo, I handed him $2. He proceeded to tell me that $5 was the "standard amount". I don't know if there actually is a standard amount, but I told him that $2 was all I was willing to give him.
After a few minutes of trying to convince me to give him more money, he suddenly said, "lets take another picture", and he pulled out his crack pipe. I wasn't very happy with the first image, so I said OK. Once I took this photo he said, "now can I have three more dollars?" I explained to him that I only had three more dollars in my pocket, and I was going to need two of them for bus fair. It actualy was the truth, I wasn't just lieing to the guy. I ended up giving him the other dollar.
Later he explained that he was trying to raise $7 so he could buy sex.
