The Virgin Moo
This is our dog, Maggie Moo. I took this shot to use on our wedding-invitation stamps. I ordered the stamps from photostamps.com, and they came out pretty well. I would order from them again.

Wow, it’s been about 6 weeks since I posted anything here. I knew it had been a while, but I didn’t realize it had been that long.
I still don’t really have anything new to show, except I did shoot this one while walking with Maggie at Fort Funston today.
I desperately need to make the time to get out an shoot.

Maggie Loves Fort Funston (and so do I)
Location: Fort Funston, CA
I’ve mentioned this several times before, but we take our dog, Maggie Moo, to the beach at Fort Funston every weekend. She loves to run in the surf and roll in the sand.
I work freelance, so my schedule can be fairly flexible. It affords me the luxury of taking time off in the middle of the week to get her out to Fort Funston a second time. Which is good, because if I didn’t, she would be climbing the walls by the next weekend. We went out there today and had a great time. Maggie did her thing, and I found a few things to shoot. I’ll be posting a few more images from todays walk.
The fact that Maggie needs to burn off some energy mid-week is actually a good thing. It forces me to take a break from work. It’s interesting, I take her there to get rid of some of her energy, while it seems to help me recharge a little. I think I enjoy it as much as she does.
On a side-note, you may have noticed that I’ve posted a few images that are a 4:3 aspect ratio (instead of my typical 3:2). That’s because I picked myself up a brand new walking-around camera the other day. I bought a Canon G9. I love my Canon 40D, but I don’t really want to carry it every where I go. It’s a little big for that. I wanted something I could just keep with me at all times. So far I’m pretty happy with the G9. I’ll be writing a full review once I play with it a bit more.

Happy New Year
Yes, I’m still here. I know it’s been a while since I posted, but I just haven’t been able to make the time to go out shooting lately. It’s been totally bumming me out.
I don’t know how much time I’m going to have in the near future, but I do have some things coming up that will yield some new images.
The first is I’m attending another Nude Photography Workshop on January 20th. Based on my last experience I wasn’t sure if I would be doing this again, but I decided to give it another shot (no pun intended).
The second isn’t so much an activity, but a new toy. Anne Marie (my girlfriend) gave me a Holga for Christmas. It means going back to film for a while, but I am looking forward to playing with it. I’ll probably take it with me on the nude photo shoot too.
I’m also hoping to make a few changes to this site this year. My original intention was to show what I’ve been shooting, but to also profile other photographers and write about some general photography topics. I’m hoping to start doing that in the near future.
Stay tuned to the site for more to come.

Camera-Shy Dog
Location: San Francisco, CA – Fort Funston
I took Maggie Moo out to Fort Funston yesterday to get a little exercise. Like usual, she was pretty wet and filthy when we were done. When we got back to the parking lot I tried to take her picture before getting into the car, and she just wouldn’t cooperate. It’s strange, she’s more than happy to look you straight in the eye at any other time, but if you have a camera in your hand, forget it. It’s as if she knows what you’re doing, and she doesn’t like it.
Shooting in rapid-fire mode, I probably shot 50-60 photos. I only managed to get one of her actually looking at me.
