This is from my pepper shoot the other day. It's the same pepper as the previous image I posted, but I didn't achieve the look I was going for with this shot. But, I still like it.

For those of you who have been into Photography for a while, you're probably familiar with Edward Weston. If you're not, Weston was a photographer from early to mid 20th century. He hung out with the likes of Ansel Adams, and was co-founder of Group f/64.
One of Weston's most well known images is Pepper No. 30. Obviously Weston's pepper was unique, but through a firm grasp of lighting, he was able to give his image a very sensual, almost human-figure appearance.
I've always wanted to try my hand at shooting a pepper. Not so much to try and copy Pepper No. 30, because that would obviously be pretty difficult, but rather to achieve a similar sensual appearance. So, I picked myself up a pepper over at Whole Foods and gave it a shot.
Although this is my first attempt, and I would like to find a more unusual pepper, I'm pretty happy with my results. I have a few more that I may post once I go through them.
