While in Chicago we stopped by Grant Park a few times. I've learned that Butterflies can be extremely difficult to sneak-up on.

I'm not a huge fan of Pit Bulls since my incident back in March, but with this black boa on, this girl looked pretty cute... in a vicious killing machine kind of way.

Today was the Gay Pride Parade here in San Francisco. I went down for a little bit this morning, but I didn't get into it as much as I had hoped. I stayed up way too late last night (3:30am) working on some under-the-hood stuff for this site, so I was wiped out today. I did get a few good shots that I'll be posting this week. There probably won't be enough for a dedicated gallery though.
I also had another photography-related expedition this afternoon that was extremely interesting, but I'll wait to write about that until tomorrow.

I took Maggie Moo out to Fort Funston yesterday to get a little exercise. Like usual, she was pretty wet and filthy when we were done. When we got back to the parking lot I tried to take her picture before getting into the car, and she just wouldn't cooperate. It's strange, she's more than happy to look you straight in the eye at any other time, but if you have a camera in your hand, forget it. It's as if she knows what you're doing, and she doesn't like it.
Shooting in rapid-fire mode, I probably shot 50-60 photos. I only managed to get one of her actually looking at me.
