Highly Subjective

Location: China Camp, CA

Today we drove out to China Camp, near San Rafael. It's a pretty interesting place.

"A Chinese shrimp-fishing village thrived on this site in the 1880s. Nearly 500 people, originally from Canton, China, lived in the village. In its heyday, there were three general stores, a marine supply store and a barber shop.

Fisherman by trade in their native country, they gravitated to the work they knew best. Over 90% of the shrimp they netted were dried and shipped to China or Chinese communities throughout the US."

At this point you're probably saying, where's the iPhone in this picture? Well, it doesn't actually have an iPhone in it. This is part of the circus that had begun to form outside the Apple Store yesterday in preparation for today's iPhone launch. I can only imagine what it's going to be like this afternoon.

Alyssa was the final model I shot at Sunday's nude photography workshop. It was the end of the day, and I think we were both tired and ready to go home. Alyssa didn't seem like she had as much experience as some of the other models, and as mentioned in previous posts, I'm so new at this that I didn't have any idea what I was doing. While we were shooting I wasn't sure if I was getting anything that I would like, but now that I've had a chance to go through them, there are a few that I think came out really well.

I'm not a huge fan of Pit Bulls since my incident back in March, but with this black boa on, this girl looked pretty cute... in a vicious killing machine kind of way.

If you use Adobe Lightroom, you may be interested to know that Adobe released the 1.1 update today. Here's what they list for changes.

• Improved Noise Reduction and Sharpening technology
• Vista compatibility
• Additional camera support for the Canon 1D Mark III, Nikon D40x and more

You can grab the update simply by selecting "Check for Updates..." under Lightroom's "Help" menu. Here's the direct link to Adobe's site.
